Hello, So you want to know a bit about us...
- My name is Jackie Frascatore, I am the founder, owner and trainer of A Dogs Life Training and Education. I am also a Nurse and Army Veteran.
- Here is a little bit of my history to give you some insight on why I love training dogs. I remember how excited I was when I got my first dog. (I must have been a about 7 yrs. old.) My dad brought home some kind of beagle/hound mix. I named him Snoopy because Snoopy was, and still is my favorite dog. (Shhh, don't tell my now German Shepherds Misha, Luca, & Ace). Needless to say Snoopy was never trained but I loved him just the same. Once he was gone I missed him and would bring home every stray I could find. I would feed them, bathe them, and teach them tricks. My mom once let me keep an Afghan Hound we somehow acquired from the horse stables. I trained her how to walk by my side, sit, and down. I took her everywhere, I would strut around the neighborhood so proud that she was so well behaved. My stepdad said I couldn't keep her and we had to get rid of her. That didn't deter me from bringing home any less strays. I was able to keep a small dog that I found one summer afternoon. I loved her so much that I would put her in my back pack and sneak her on the bus so she could come to the beach with me in California where I grew up. I have always had at least one dog in my life among many other animals large and small.
- My interest is in what makes them tick, why they do what they do, how they interact with each other and with us. this has always kept me interested in searching for more information which has led me to work with numerous training methods, attending multiple seminars with top trainers in the world, reading books by industry leaders in animal behavior, psychology, and neuroscience.
- I have attended and Graduated the NePoPo® Gold School with world renowned trainers Bart Bellon and Michael Bellon. With all this knowledge, I have adopted what is a proven balanced method of education that is fun for both You and your dog. NePoPo® training is the foundation of my training methods.
- Corrections are not used until your dog understands what we are asking from him/her. The concept is easy, It's the dedication and patience is the hard part. I will give you the tools you need to communicate effectively with your dog, so that you can build your partnership and work together as a team.

Alois Bielmeier
Alois Bielmeier began working in protection dogs when he was in the German Army. I asked him some questions to start him talking about himself as he is a humble quiet man. Once I began my probe into his life with dogs he began telling me more with less reserve. This is part of his bio and the conversation we had. Please note that the majority of his dog training career has been in protection and sport dog training, these practice also include precision obedience skills.
When did you start training Dogs?
- “I started my dog training about 1980. I was working in a Radar station that was guarded with dogs from a private company. I was interested in this work. I got a GSD and named him Asco. I started training Asco in this type of guard work. I learned a lot of beginning skills with the trainer of the company. He would regularly hire me when the guard team was short. I was still in the German Army so could not work full time. I finished with the army in 1986. But was always working with the Guard team, about 6 years. This was full suit protection training.”
Who else did you get mentorship from?
- “I learned from the Head trainer of the Guard dog company I was also I was able to do some work with Bart Belon And followed some of Godfried Dildi’s work. During this time I went to the German Shepherd Club in O.G. Ruhmannsfelden where I was born. The time was about 1984 I was still with the German Army. They knew me at the club since it was a small village 2000 people and they would see me working with my own dog. In 1984 I started working as the club helper. They asked me to be the helper and training director and that’s when I started to be serious about the training.”
