Hi, I’m Jackie Frascatore, founder, trainer, Army veteran, and nurse behind A Dog’s Life Training & Education.
Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My first dog, a beagle/hound mix named Snoopy, sparked something in me at a young age. After I lost him, I started bringing home stray dogs—feeding them, caring for them, and teaching them what I could. Even back then, I wasn’t just loving dogs… I was trying to understand them.
That curiosity never left.
From Passion to Professional Training
Growing up in California, I always had a dog by my side (sometimes literally—like the one I snuck in my backpack to the beach). Over time, my interest grew into a deeper focus on behavior—why dogs do what they do, how they learn, and how we can communicate with them more clearly.
That led me to:
- Study multiple training methods
- Attend seminars with top trainers around the world
- Dive into animal behavior, psychology, and neuroscience
I am also a graduate of the NePoPo® Gold School, where I trained under world-renowned trainers Bart Bellon and Michael Bellon.
My Training Philosophy
I use a balanced, proven system built on clarity, communication, and consistency.
